Our clients requested a change of style and colour in their main bedroom and it is now almost unrecognisable from when we first saw it. With two large windows close to the bed, a major concern was blocking out light at night so we introduced handmade blackout roman blinds within the window recesses complemented by floor-length curtains to ensure total darkness. The room now features a bronze green ceiling which creates a restful, cocooning feel and textured wallpaper adds depth and character to the walls. But perhaps the most significant update was to the existing fitted wardrobes. We gave them a total makeover by adding moulding to the wardrobe doors, installing a central arch over the drawers, and tactile wallpaper detailing to the doors, sophisticated new handles completed the look.
