London Design Week

A Day at The Chelsea Design Centre

We absolutely loved our recent visit to the Chelsea Design Centre for London Design Week — it's always one of our favourite days of the year, and this time did not disappoint. The building was buzzing with industry experts and fellow interior designers, with showrooms unveiling their latest collections and the most beautiful pieces around every corner.

One of the highlights was connecting with the lovely Niki Wright of Lights & Lamps — a truly inspiring conversation about the role lighting plays in transforming a space. We were particularly taken with their new Avenue & Acre collection, which strikes a beautiful balance between refined and organic — exactly the kind of considered, layered lighting we love to work with. Lighting is so often an afterthought, but as Niki reminded us, it really is the jewellery of a room. Watch this space — we'll be specifying some of his beautiful pieces in upcoming projects!

We also spent time exploring the stunning new collections from Romo and iLiv. Romo's new fabrics were rich and considered — beautiful tactile textures in a warm, earthy palette that felt very much in tune with where interiors are heading. iLiv brought a fresher, more accessible energy with some really lovely print and weave designs that we can already see working beautifully in client homes. Both collections left us very excited.
