A Scent of Our Own

Because a beautifully designed room should smell as good as it looks

At LuLa, we believe that great design goes beyond what you can see. A beautifully designed room should feel right the moment you walk into it - the quality of the light, the softness underfoot, the way the furniture invites you to sit down and stay a while. But there is one sense that often gets overlooked, and that is scent.

The way a room smells can have a profound effect on how it makes you feel, and it was for this reason that we wanted to create the perfect finishing touch to our projects.

We are so proud to have worked collaboratively with Kat Hunt of The Cosy Bird - a local scent “guru” based just up the road in Bingham - to develop our very own LuLa fragrance. Kat's knowledge of scent and her instinct for creating essential oil blends that genuinely move people made her the perfect partner for this project, and working with her has been an absolute joy.

Together we settled on a blend of lemon, bergamot and geranium - a combination that is designed to uplift and inspire.

Lemon brings clarity and brightness, helping to lift the mood and refresh the space.

Bergamot adds balance and softness, known for it’s gently uplifting yet calming qualities.

Geranium subtly rounds the blend, introducing warmth and harmony to create a more composed, refined finish.

Together the oils create a clean, quietly uplifting scent designed to support calm, focused and well-balanced interiors.

The fragrance is available as both a candle and a diffuser, and we are delighted to gift one to every client on completion of their project. It feels like the perfect way to mark the moment a space becomes truly yours - a final finishing touch to bring a little joy to your everyday living.
